To ensure you're receiving the freshest coffee possible, we generally push orders placed over the weekend to the following roast week. So if you order on a Friday afternoon, your order may not be sent out until Wednesday. This also includes 5lb bags.
What We Taste: white grape + crunch berries + canned peaches
In 2018 the Ethiopian Aricha washing station underwent a major revitalization, allowing Aricha to be vaulted to international acclaim while establishing itself as an integral link in Ethiopia’s legendary Yirgacheffe supply chain. Just one year after reopening, the Aricha community’s four submissions to the Ethiopian Cup made the final selection and ranked among top-scoring coffees in the auction. This catapulted the economic opportunity in the region, and today the washing station serves over 1,000 smallholders annually.
Yirgacheffe coffees are known for their clear and defined flavor profiles with strong berry notes. We developed a light roast profile for the Aricha, which preserves these intense and luxurious flavors. The Aricha may also be our most flexible single-origin offering, extracting beautifully spanning pourer to espresso. We can’t wait for you to find your favorite brew method to enjoy the notes of canned peach, white grape, and crunch berries.
